This is a UVB sunscreen agent that also absorbs a small portion of the UVA spectrum. It is a water-soluble chemical sunscreen agent with several notable characteristics: excellent water solubility, long-lasting effects, good dispersion, low migration, high thermal stability, and efficient absorption. It is primarily used in sunscreen, skincare, and makeup products to protect the skin from harmful ultraviolet radiation.
Mechanism of action:
The effect of UVB isolation is achieved by preventing the breakdown of other UVB filters in sunscreens and by converting incoming UV radiation into less harmful infrared radiation or heat.
